Selective laser sintering (SLS) is a special additive manufacturing process. An SLS expert and I have developed a video series all about its capabilities.

Selective laser sintering (SLS) is a special additive manufacturing process, and a special process for polymer part production.

Among other things, SLS is:

• The 3D printing process most free of the need for sacrificial supports within the build.

• The polymer part-making process delivering properties nearest to injection molding (but without a mold).

• The additive manufacturing process most ready to scale to production quantities.

Nate Stevens of Lifestyle Additive and I are launching a video series all about this process. The first episode just dropped. Lifestyle Additive is a specialist in SLS; I’ve reported on their work in previous posts.
